CIPP

CIPP (Cured In Place Pipe) clients start at the grass roots level with several thousands corporate and independent plumbers performing repairs on home size sewer lines using a no dig technology that forms a pipe within a pipe. Large, municipality and utility scale users are also taking advantage of this technology. CIPP now represent about 25% of the non-wind epoxy sale and growing every day.

CIPP 1310T-LT BLue

Rhino 1310T-LT Blue is a 100% solids, non-draining, epoxy system for producing Cured In-Place Pipe. It is a single resin system with multiple choices of either 2:1 or 4:1 (by volume) curing agent hardeners. Rhino 1310T LT Blue epoxy resin is tinted transparent blue, and the hardeners are transparent yellow, so when the system is properly mixed a uniform green color is achieved. Rhino 1310T LT Blue Resin CIPP systems have a proven track record in conjunction with felt or fiberglass liner materials.

    Features & Benefits:

• Rehabilities underground pipes

• Cures very fast with mild (120°F heat)

• Trenchless repair of pipes from 2" to 102" in diameter

• Effectively lines pipes and drain lines with 90-degree bend

• ASTM F-126 compliant, adding value and assuring quality in the CIPP process

    Applications:

• Applications requiring less invasive pipe system replacement procedures

• Municipal, residential, commercial markets (manholes and underground pipe systems)

• Trenchless, less invasive sectional point repair for structural repair without digging

• Lateral and sectional point repair rehabilitation

• Re-lining markets (homes, sanitary and storm sewers, pipelines)

Infrastructure Retrofit

Infrastructure Retrofit is used for seismic upgrade, blast protection and composite repair of conventional concrete/rebar structures that are failing. The infrastructure market segment has grown nearly 100% per year and now represents about 35% of non-wind epoxy sales. An added bonus in this market is that many of its existing epoxy clients can use Rhino Linings urethane formulations.

1310T Resin

A 100% solids, non-draining epoxy system for epoxy composites. Rhino 1310T is a single resin system with multiple choices of either 2:1 or 4:1 (by volume) curing agent hardeners for variety of fiber reinforced applications. A ide variety of Rhino hardeners are avaliable to use with Rhino 1310T Resin.

    Features & Benefits:

• Fast wet-out of fiberglass reinforcements with minimal drainage from laminate

• Flexible warp conforms to any shape

• Reduced installation time

• Less weight / low thermal expansion

    • Greater fatigue resistance / greater strength and reinforcement

    Applications:

• Infrastructure seismic upgrades (concrete, beams, columns, pipes)

• Carbon fiber or glass filament winding (pressure tanks, vessels)

• Fatigue resistant FRP manufacturing parts

• Composite tooling

VARTM (Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Molding)

VARTM (Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Molding) or Liquid Resin Infusion is a composite manufacturing process in which the dry fibers are laid on the tool and vacuum sealed and the liquid resin is drawn through with a vacuum pump to create rotor wind blades. Liquid resin technology provides for lower cost and lower cure temperatures. Since the liquid resin techniques do not require curing cycles over 60°C, the tooling for the blades is much easier to construct. Liquid resin infusion almost always forms a uniform composite of nearly ideal 65 percent fiberglass to 35 percent resin by weight.
